I spoke to Essex batsman Graham Napier at the weekend about his excellent knock against Surrey. It was an innings that brought back memories of his 152 back in June 2008.
Fresh from their Ashes victory in Australia earlier this year, England return to the test arena this week as they take on Sri Lanka in the first of three test matches.
Fresh from securing the league title in their respective countries, Manchester United and Barcelona do battle on 28th May in the Champions League final at Wembley.
The Premier League is the most entertaining league in the world. Of that there can surely be no doubt.
A lot has changed since I last added anything to this blog. I now run my own sports content company and this has involved me doing lots of exciting things.

Vital Norwich

During 2010 / 2011 football season, Thomas will be writing a column every week on Vital Norwich. There is always much to discuss with the Canaries, so this is a place for him to discuss his thoughts.
Russell Martin – the man who splits opinion
I will level with you before I go any further – I don`t rate Russell Martin as a Championship full-back. I wasn`t actually convinced by him in League One either.
Sky’s the limit for ruthless Canaries
With Alan Bowkett, David McNally and Paul Lambert pulling the strings, there will be no ‘little old Norwich’ attitude reminiscent of the 2004 / 2005 Premier League season as the club looks ahead to the new campaign.
Eastern Daily Press

During the summer of 2010, Thomas has been covering cricket matches across East Anglia for the Eastern Daily Press. Mainly acting as the Carter Cup correspondent for the newspaper.
Fakenham’s Carter Cup wait is over
Fakenham won the Carter Cup for the first time yesterday as they defeated Horsford by 16 runs in a tense encounter at Manor Park. Phil Gray produced a man-of-the-match 55 to elevate his team to 177 in the first innings, before Sanjaya Rodrigo (4-38) helped ensure that Chris Brown’s hard-working 51 was in a losing cause for Horsford.
Perry provides Bucks’ fizz
Old Buckenham secured their place in the quarter-finals of the Carter Cup after defeating Bradenham in an entertaining encounter on Sunday. Skipper Terry Perry set the tone, batting through the innings to finish 122no as the home side posted an impressive 306 for four. Bradenham then fell 26 runs short of their target, despite an unbeaten 134 from Mpho Selowa.
Keep an eye on this page for the latest Vital Norwich and Eastern Daily press pieces from Thomas. He will also be writing a column for www.pinkun.com this season.
